Technologies / Straight fertilisers
One nutrient at a time, at horticultural grade
A straight fertiliser does one job, and it has to do it without bringing anything else into the tank.
That makes purity and solubility the whole specification: what dissolves, how fast, and what is left
behind when it has.
Ten straights, every one horticultural grade. These are the
raw materials our own compound grades are built from — we sell them because the same purity that makes a
good MAXI-FEED makes a good straight.
Why grade matters more than analysis
Two bags can declare the same numbers and behave completely differently in a fertigation line. The
difference is what the analysis does not show: insoluble residue, free acidity, anti-caking additives
and the particle size distribution that governs how quickly the product goes into solution.
Horticultural grade means the material was selected for a nutrient solution rather than for
broadcast spreading. It dissolves completely, leaves nothing to block an emitter or foul a filter, and
it is consistent enough that the same recipe gives the same solution every time.
That consistency is why these grades are the raw materials for our own compound products. Nothing
on this page is a trading line bought on price.
Calcium
Calcium decides fruit quality and cell-wall integrity, and it is the nutrient most often short where it matters. Four grades — two physical forms of the straight nitrate, one enriched with trace elements, one carrying magnesium.

CALNICUM Calcium Nitrate, granular
Granular calcium nitrate that still dissolves completely. Granular to handle, store and spread without dust or caking; superior water solubility so it goes straight into a fertigation line without residue. The standard calcium source most programmes are built around.
| Nitrogen (N) | 15.2 % |
| Calcium oxide (CaO) | 27.2 % |
| Ammonium nitrogen | low |
| Form | granular |
| Grade | high grade water soluble |
Superior water-soluble source of calcium. Low ammonium concentration. Suited to fertigation and foliar application.

CALNICUM FLAKE Calcium Nitrate, flake
The same calcium nitrate in flake form. Flakes dissolve faster than granules for their weight, which suits operations mixing stock solutions by hand or working to a tight fill window.
| Nitrogen (N) | 15.2 % |
| Calcium oxide (CaO) | 27.2 % |
| Ammonium nitrogen | low |
| Form | flake |
| Grade | high grade water soluble |
Superior water-soluble source of calcium. Low ammonium concentration. Suited to fertigation and foliar application.

CALNICUM⁺ Calcium Nitrate with chelated micronutrients
The same calcium nitrate base carrying all six chelated trace elements, so a single product covers calcium and the micronutrient package in one tank addition.
| Total nitrogen (N) | 15.2 % |
| Nitrate nitrogen (N-NO₃) | 14.4 % |
| Ammoniacal nitrogen (N-NH₄) | 0.8 % |
| Calcium oxide (CaO) | 27.2 % |
| Water-soluble calcium (Ca) | 19.4 % |
| Chelated trace elements | B · Cu · Fe · Mn · Mo · Zn |
EC fertiliser. Enriched with essential chelated micronutrients as water-soluble trace elements.

CALCIMAG Calcium Magnesium Nitrate
Calcium and magnesium together with nitrate nitrogen. For crops where magnesium is limiting canopy colour at the same time as calcium is limiting fruit quality.
| Nitrogen (N) | 13.5 % |
| Calcium oxide (CaO) | 16.7 % |
| Magnesium oxide (MgO) | 6 % |
EC fertiliser. Superior water soluble.
Phosphates
Four phosphate routes, differing in the counter-ion they carry and in what they do to the pH of the solution they are dissolved into.

ZENITH-MAP Monoammonium Phosphate 12-61-0
The highest phosphate loading in the range. For establishment and root initiation, where phosphate availability decides what the rest of the season can do.
| Total nitrogen (N) | 12 % |
| Ammoniacal nitrogen (N-NH₄) | 12 % |
| Phosphorus pentoxide (P₂O₅) | 61 % |
| P₂O₅ soluble in water | 61 % |
| Phosphorus (P) | 26.6 % |
| P soluble in water | 26.6 % |
Soluble in ammonium citrate and in water. Superior solubility.

ZENITH-MKP Monopotassium Phosphate 0-52-34
Phosphate and potassium with no nitrogen at all. The grade for flowering, fruit set and finishing, where further nitrogen would delay maturity.
| Phosphorus pentoxide (P₂O₅) | 52 % |
| Potassium oxide (K₂O) | 34 % |
| Nitrogen | none |
EC fertiliser. Superior solubility.

ZENITH-UP Urea Phosphate 17-44-0
Nitrogen and phosphate in an acidic form. Dissolving it lowers the pH of the nutrient solution, which keeps phosphate and micronutrients available in hard or bicarbonate-rich water.
| Total nitrogen (N) | 17 % |
| Phosphorus pentoxide (P₂O₅) | 44 % |
| Reaction in solution | acidic |
Superior solubility. Carries a DLG quality mark to German standards.

ZENITH-APK Acid Phosphate Potassium
An acidic phosphate-potassium grade for fertigation lines that need both nutrition and a downward push on solution pH in the same application.
| Type | acid phosphate potassium |
| Reaction in solution | acidic |
| Grade | EC fertiliser |
Superior solubility. Full declared analysis available on request.
Potassium and magnesium
Two straights for the second half of the season, both chloride-free and both carrying sulphur.

EURO-SOL Potassium Sulphate (SOP) 0-0-51 + 18.5 S
Chloride-free potassium with sulphur, in horticultural grade. The potassium source for chloride-sensitive crops and for soils where salt is already a cost rather than a filler.
| Potassium oxide (K₂O) | 51 % |
| Sulphur (S) | 18.5 % |
| Chloride | free |
| Grade | horticultural |
Superior water soluble.

ZENITH Magnesium Sulphate 0-0-0 + 16 MgO + 32 SO₃
Magnesium and sulphur with no nitrogen, phosphate or potassium attached. For correcting magnesium without disturbing the rest of a balanced programme.
| Magnesium oxide (MgO) | 16 % |
| MgO soluble in water | 16 % |
| Magnesium (Mg) | 9.6 % |
| Sulphur trioxide (SO₃) | 32 % |
| Sulphur (S) | 12.8 % |
Straight fertiliser, horticultural grade.
Tell us the water, not just the crop.
Send an irrigation water analysis with your soil report. Which straights belong in your programme
depends as much on your bicarbonate and chloride as on what the crop needs.
