ZENITH TECH GmbH · Plant Protein Hydrolysate
81.2% Free Amino AcidsAMINOSUN
A premium organic biostimulant produced by enzymatic hydrolysis of corn, soy and sunflower protein — delivering free amino acids in their biologically active L-form directly to the plant through dedicated membrane transporters.
- L-form purity >96.3% — confirmed by chiral HPLC (EN 17154:2019)
- Aminogram matched to 6 plant transporter families (LHT1, AAP, ProT2, CAT)
- Proven stress rescue under combined drought + salinity — tomato trial
- Feeds three secondary metabolite pathways simultaneously
- 100% plant origin — no synthetic amino acids, no animal origin
Core concept
What is AMINOSUN?
AMINOSUN delivers 81.2% free amino acids in their biologically active L-form directly through six specific plant membrane transporter families — bypassing the plant's own protein digestion step and saving up to 12 ATP per mole of nitrogen assimilated.
From Plant — For Plant
Corn protein (35%) + Soy (50%) + Sunflower meal (15%). No synthetic amino acids. No animal origin. Enzymatic hydrolysis (Alcalase + Flavourzyme) preserves >96% L-form — chemical hydrolysis destroys up to 30% L-form.
Immediately bioavailable
Free amino acids are taken up directly via membrane transporters within hours of foliar application. No further plant digestion required. Protein-bound amino acids and D-forms are biologically inactive for uptake.
Transporter-optimised aminogram
Each amino acid in AMINOSUN is matched to its primary plant membrane transporter based on published substrate specificity. This ensures maximum uptake efficiency — not passive diffusion.

Design philosophy
Aminogram Matched to Plant Transporters
Six dedicated transporter families serve the 18 amino acids in AMINOSUN — every molecule has a dedicated uptake route into the plant cell.
High-affinity neutral AA uptake in leaves and roots
Stress-inducible; strongly upregulated under drought and salinity
Phloem loading and long-distance N transport
Branched-chain and basic amino acids; stress response
Root tip and embryo; phenylpropanoid pathway entry via Phe
Positively charged amino acids in vascular tissues
Secondary metabolite pathways
One Spray — Three Biochemical Pathways
Every AMINOSUN application feeds phenylpropanoid, polyamine and glutathione synthesis simultaneously — structural defence, membrane stability and antioxidant protection in one product.
Phenylpropanoid / Flavonoid
- Lignin — cell wall rigidity
- Flavonoids — UV screen + ROS scavenger
- Phytoalexins — antifungal defence
- Anthocyanins — stress signalling
Polyamine Biosynthesis
- Putrescine — stress signal, osmolyte
- Spermidine — membrane stabiliser
- Spermine — ripening delay
- Stomatal guard cell regulation
Glutathione (GSH) Synthesis
- GSH = γ-Glu–Cys–Gly tripeptide
- Cystine is the rate-limiting precursor
- Scavenges H₂O₂ via Halliwell-Asada
- Regenerates ascorbate for APX
From Plant — For Plant
Science in every drop
AMINOSUN is plant science in its purest form. Corn, soy and sunflower protein — enzymatically broken down to their smallest active building blocks and returned to the plant in the form it can immediately use.
Every amino acid in AMINOSUN has a dedicated transporter. Every transporter has a destination. Every destination has a function — from chloroplast protection to cell wall reinforcement to antioxidant defence.

Product synergy
AMINOSUN + CALISTA — Molecularly Complementary
Two products. Two entry points. One shared pathway — the Halliwell-Asada ascorbate-glutathione cycle.
GSH substrate supply
Glu + Cys + Gly → glutathione. Cystine is the rate-limiting step — every milligram delivered by AMINOSUN directly expands the plant's antioxidant pool.
- Scavenges H₂O₂ chemically
- Regenerates ascorbate via DHAR enzyme
- Ascorbate fuels APX — activated by CALISTA
Enzyme upregulation
Si upregulates SOD, CAT, APX and GR by 127–310% via JA/SA signalling. But APX needs ascorbate — and ascorbate needs GSH from AMINOSUN to be regenerated.
- Pre-arms the antioxidant enzyme system
- APX stalls without AMINOSUN-supplied GSH
- Combined: MDA −60%, Pn +93%
The molecular dependency
CALISTA activates the engine. AMINOSUN supplies the fuel. Without both, neither reaches full potential.

Application Guide
Dissolve
Add 1–2 kg per 1000 L water. Highly soluble — no specialist equipment. Mix until clear (~2 minutes).
Rate
1.0–2.0 kg/ha per application. Use 2.0 kg/ha every 7 days under active drought or heat stress.
Spray conditions
Fine mist to both leaf surfaces. Early morning or evening — avoid temperatures above 28°C.
Frequency
Every 10–14 days during the growing season. Apply 48 h before a forecast stress event.
Compatibility
Compatible with most foliar fertilisers and crop protection products. Jar test recommended before new tank-mixes.
